Compliance

Let us take the stress out of the consent process.

At Storage Systems our aim is to make any consenting and compliance as painless as possible by providing a full comprehensive service that manages the entire process.

There are four different producer statements required for building consent from your local council. Which ones you need to provide will depend on each project. At times a fire engineer report may be required, we can provide this.

PS1 – Form

Provided by an engineer, this form takes into account – Compliance with NZ building code, weight loading, site zoning, slab report, neighbouring properties.

PS2 – Form

Second report provided by another independent engineer, this form is required on larger projects. Usually requires a fire engineers report.

PS3 – Form

Provided by the installer, this form states that the system has been installed in compliance with the NZ building code, manufacturers specifications and engineers PS1 document.

PS4 – Form

Provided by engineer that supplied the PS1 form, this is the final inspection of the installation process, this confirms that the system has been installed in compliance with the NZ building code.

On completion of all the producer statements, code of compliance certificate will be granted within the required time frame.
